How does Photofractional work
The treatment starts with one pass of IPL over the surface of the skin. This helps remove and lighten the appearance of pigmentation and broken capillaries. How many treatments do I need?
Optimal results are achieved after 3 to 5 sessions in 2 to 6 weeks intervals. However, you will continue to see improvement for the next six months following the treatment.
What should I expect during my treatment?
A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin. You can expect the session to last anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. You will experience a warm or pricking sensation as the laser is applied to the skin.
What is the downtime?
You may experience mild swelling and redness. The swelling will diminish after a few hours and the redness over the next 1-3 days.
What do I use on my skin during the healing process?
